| About the site So you have read a little bit about us now what about the site. The site at the moment is going through a complete change, so regular visitors to the site please accept our apology for adverts at the moment but hopefully in the next few weeks we will be back advert free. The Home Page The home page is the first to place we started to alter things, This work is still been done so please bear with us for the time been. We will be adding a new navigation to the site on the page itself so not so many buttons in the header. This should make it easier to navigate and find the information you want faster. New Pages New pages are been made and added as we speak. One of these is the data base we are at present making for "Storms and shipping loss" this is a full working searchable database which covers storms from Newcastle to Hull including loss of ships and damage to ships,land and property as well as people. It has links and pages on rescues at sea including full listings of all lifeboats in the area from the start to modern day. New research There will be many more new pages added including new work done on the German Bieber and all German mini subs. with a exciting new link page incorporating many submarine sites and information sites. A new photo book will be incorporated with hundreds of original photos of ships from present day and back to by gone days, this will be catalogued in to sections as the rest of the site will be, from before sail, sail, steam and up to modern. There is also a new small craft section been added so if you have a rubber dingy or luxury yacht we want to hear from you. In the Future Look out for the pages on the old minesweeper of Stockton. A new and exciting project is in the making there, we will be covering it exclusively. And we have arranged for many meetings to take place where you can join us for a drink and a chat as well as listening to speakers on all kinds of maritime matters past and present.
