The Hemlington Nautical History Society is the new name for the J&G Maritime history society. The original society was set up in 2005 to showcase many areas of maritime history. Unfortunatly for several reasons the name had to be changed and much of the content deleted from here. So in 2007 the society was re registered under the heading and banner of " The Hemlington Nautical History Society".
The Society is owned by "GPS Reseach" which was established back in 1997. "GPS Research is a registered business but is run seperate from this society.
About GPS Research
Over the years GPS has undertaken many research tasks both on the academic level and private level. It has today grown to a point where we have many researchers spread over the globe. 50 researchers alone are in the UK and undertake work on behalf of our clients free of charge. The only time we ask for a payment is if the person requiers paper documents from places where we are charged, then in most circumstances we can get them at a reduced rate. ( Except Govt. Establishments).
About this site
On the Nautical site you may ask us to delve into any topic with a nautical or maritime theme, researchers will do there best to supply a quick answer with documented evidence when poss. Please note we do not make any charge for this.

The initial contact may only be a acknowledgement from us but rest asured we will try to provide the information you request.
