The last 6 posts have been deleted, I will point out though that the person who posted them under different names was the sme person. The isp has been logged. Furthermore we do kn ow who you are. It is a shame that after all you said you did not attempt to save the Kellington or the Bron. just a lot of dribble. At least we tried to save the K as for the Bron we are not stopping anyone from going for her. After all, all you will own is the hull. The contents are already in private hands and have been for years.

I own the original Donnell cartoon sketch from the Globe-Democrat April 17, 1912. It was signed "To My friend Baskett", Cecil Baskett, who was the editor of the Globe Democrat at the time. I do not know artist Donnell's first name. Can anyone help me?

Hello, I came across your site following a search for more information about the Bridlington Queen as I'd had many enjoyable trips on her in the 1950's and 60's. Immagine my surprise when I was on passing through Dundee in 1980 or 81. I'd a day to spare prior to a holiday with the Scottish National Trust (on the old school ship Uganda) and came across an excursion to see the Tay bridges from river level. I went on board the "Tay Queen" and as we sailed along the river began to develop that feeling of "I've been here before". I was pleased to find that she'd still retained her old "Bridlington Queen" makers plate.

I suppose that my only regret is that I never knew of her final years of service down in Nottingham as I live about 20 miles from there and I would have loved to have visited and patronised her before her final demise.

Long may she live on in peoples memories.

I am trying to help someone with their genealogy. His grandfather worked at the Harland & Wolff Shipyards.
Do you know if there is an existing list of employees for this shipyard? He would like to have proof that he worked there.
Thank you,
Peg

Thanks for a very informative site. It was very helpful in a story I'm writing. It's a fictional story, with some actual historical events in the background.

I am trying to identify a stern wheeler ship wreck off the southwest coast of Florida.

If you would take a quick look at my web site that contains the latest picture of this wreck and would greatly appreciate expertise.

It would be wonderful if you could provide any information with regard to the wreck.

The web site is as follows:

www.Contrails.com/PaddleWheel

Thank You,
Dave Brink
